Hi there!
I’m Karo Omodior, PhD – founder of Oores Analytics.
Background
Before starting the firm, I spent over a decade in biostatistical research, data modeling, and public health program evaluation, including several years as a college professor. That combination – academic rigor plus hands-on consulting – shapes how I approach every engagement: nothing gets recommended that hasn’t been tested, and nothing gets delivered that a client can’t actually use.
I’ve worked with NGOs, academic institutions, and private organizations on problems in public health, education, and business analytics. The thread running through all of it is the same belief: decisions grounded in real evidence hold up better than decisions made on instinct.
I am Karo Omodior (PhD), a data-driven strategist, researcher, and founder of oores Analytics, where I lead the mission to make data science and statistical insights accessible and impactful across sectors. Prior to founding oores Analytics, I worked as a college professor. With over a decade of experience in biostatistical research, data modeling, consulting and public health program evaluation, I bring a rare combination of academic rigor and practical problem-solving to every engagement.
I am passionate about solving real-world problems with data, I have worked with NGOs, academic institutions, and private organizations to deliver solutions in areas ranging from public health and education to business analytics. My work is rooted in the belief that ethical, evidence-based decision-making can drive meaningful change.

Credentials
I hold a PhD in Health & Human Performance, an MPH in Health Promotion, Education & Behavior, and an MS in Biostatistics, and have contributed to interdisciplinary research across public health, education, and the nonprofit sector. I still teach: alongside consulting, I lead the small-group training workshops listed under Training, because a client’s own team should be able to keep using what we build together after an engagement ends.
